Why are prices and stock shown as "sample"?

Prices, stock and ratings change constantly at retailers, so we don't present a hand-entered number as a live quote. In development these show as sample data and are hidden in production. The "view at retailer" links still take you to the real product page (or a search for it), where you can check the current price.
